Ahmadis

A 19th-century Islamic movement founded in Punjab, considered heretical by mainstream Sunni authorities for its view of its founder’s status. Declared non-Muslim by Pakistani law in 1974 and criminally barred from calling themselves Muslim since 1984, they are persecuted across the Muslim world.
