Druze

A secretive monotheistic faith that broke from Ismaili Islam in 11th-century Egypt and does not accept converts. Around a million people across Syria, Lebanon, Israel and the Golan. Israel’s Druze are citizens who serve in the IDF, often in combat units, and the community’s covenant of blood with the state is a standing refutation of the claim that Israel is a state for Jews alone.
