The War of Attrition

The grinding, mostly static conflict from 1967 to 1970, chiefly between Egypt and Israel along the Suez Canal, as Egypt tried to wear Israel down with artillery duels and raids after its defeat in the Six-Day War. It ended in a ceasefire with the front lines essentially unchanged.
