David Wyman: what Wikipedia removed

David Wyman was a historian who studied why the United States failed to rescue Jews during the Holocaust. Through 2020 the opening said that in Paper Walls he discussed the combination of antisemitism, nativistic nationalism, economic crisis and isolationism that made rescue inconceivable. Today the opening is reduced to his name, dates and university post, with his scholarship on antisemitism gone entirely though the word survives three times in the body. A reader today learns his job title and does not learn what he actually found, that antisemitism helped block the rescue of Jews.
