Shia Islamism: what Wikipedia removed

This article covers political Islam within Twelver Shia Islam. The October 2023 opening said Shi’i Islamism had introduced “the ‘cult of martyrdom’ in suicide bombing/attacks… against Israeli forces in Lebanon by Shia Hezbollah.” Today’s opening covers Khomeini and the Iranian Revolution with no mention of the martyrdom cult or suicide bombings against Israeli forces, though martyr survives 18 times in the body. A reader today does not learn that the opening once credited Shia Islamism with introducing suicide bombing against Israeli forces in Lebanon.
