Khazar myth

An antisemitic conspiracy theory claiming Ashkenazi Jews are not real Jews but converts descended from the medieval Khazars, and so have “no claim” to Israel. Genetics and history refute it: Jewish populations carry clear Middle Eastern ancestry traced to the Levant.
