Sharm El Sheikh Memorandum: what Wikipedia removed
The Sharm El Sheikh Memorandum is a 1999 agreement between Israel and the PLO. Through 2010 the opening said both sides “affirmed they would act swiftly against any threat or act of terrorism, violence or incitement, whether committed by Palestinians or Israelis.” Today’s opening lists the memorandum’s negotiating topics with no mention of this commitment, though terror survives twice in the body.
