Decolonization

In the slogans of the Israel debate, “decolonization” is the academic dress for undoing the Jewish state. Built on the false premise that Jews are colonisers (see settler-colonialism), it reframes Israel’s elimination as a moral correction, and pairs with phrases like “by any means necessary” to license violence against Israeli civilians as inherent occupiers. Decolonizing a state that is the indigenous people’s own homeland is not justice; it is erasure.
