Dov Lior: what Wikipedia removed

Dov Lior is a far-right Israeli Orthodox rabbi and dean of the Kiryat Arba Hesder Yeshiva, a longtime symbol of religious and nationalist extremism in Israel. Through 2010 the opening reported that he was barred from election to the Supreme Rabbinical Council after making statements suggesting captured Arab terrorists could be used to conduct medical experiments. Today the word terror survives twice elsewhere in the article, but the opening carries no mention of the barred election or the statement behind it. A reader arriving now learns of his support for mass murderer Baruch Goldstein and his comments on the 2015 Paris attacks, not that he was barred from a rabbinical council over a proposal to experiment on captured terrorists.
