Palestinian domestic weapons production: what Wikipedia removed
The article covers Palestinian groups that built their own rockets, anti-tank missiles and RPGs for use against Israel. Through October 2023 the opening called the groups building these weapons various militant Palestinian groups. Today the opening calls them insurgent Palestinian, or Palestinian resistance, groups, and the word militant survives once in the body. A reader today gets the groups’ preferred self-description, resistance, in place of Wikipedia’s earlier plainer term.
The word “militant” appeared 1 times in this article’s opening at its peak, in 2010. Today it appears nowhere in the article at all, references included. Checked against the full current article on 2026-08-01.
