Eurabia conspiracy theory
Section titled “Eurabia conspiracy theory”In 2009 the opening defined Eurabia by its demographic premise, that Europe’s Muslim population would grow through immigration and birth rates. By 2019 it was “an Islamophobic conspiracy theory”; on 12 June 2023 editor Iskandar323, later indefinitely topic-banned by the Arbitration Committee, moved the title itself to “Eurabia conspiracy theory”. The measurable forecast left the definition; the verdict moved into the name.

Demographic jihad
Section titled “Demographic jihad”The first sentence calls it a “purported phenomenon”; on 27 April 2026 the uncited short description was set to “Islamophobic conspiracy theory”, a verdict the article’s own text does not state. It quotes no advocate at all, not Erdoğan’s 2017 “Have five children, not three. You are Europe’s future,” and its evidence includes Al Jazeera.

Counter-jihad
Section titled “Counter-jihad”In 2011 the article quoted the movement’s aims, “to resist further Islamization of Western countries”. Its short description went from “anti-Islam” (2023) to “anti-Muslim” (2025), erasing the line between criticising a doctrine and hating a people, and on 16 July 2026 it was filed under “Zionism in North America” and “Zionism in Europe”, beside hate speech and the persecution of Muslims.

Islamization of Iran
Section titled “Islamization of Iran”2009: Islam was “accepted or enforced” on the population. 2014: “accepted”. Today it “eventually spread”. The conversion of a Zoroastrian empire under the jizya and dhimmi law now has no agent in its first sentence.

Spread of Islam
Section titled “Spread of Islam”On 17 April 2024 an anonymous edit with no summary changed the first sentence from caliphates “occupying” a vast area and conversion boosted by Arab Muslim forces “conquering vast territories” to “expanding”. The conquest stayed in the history; it left the verb.

Dhimmitude
Section titled “Dhimmitude”The short description once read “Permanent status of subjection in which Jews and Christians have been held under Islamic rule”; in June 2022 it became a “polemical characterization”, and in July 2025 the term for a documented legal status was filed under “Islamophobic tropes”.

Islamophobia
Section titled “Islamophobia”On the eve of October 7 the opening said the term’s definition “is the subject of debate”, with some disputing any link to racism “on the grounds that religion is not a race”. Today it is the “irrational fear” of Islam or Muslims and “a form of religious or cultural bigotry”, and the objection is gone from the opening: criticism of a religion and hatred of its people, merged in the definition.

Muslim Brotherhood
Section titled “Muslim Brotherhood”The opening now lists the US designation. The categories moved the other way: “Middle Eastern collaborators with Nazi Germany” removed on 3 October 2018 with no explanation, “Anti-imperialist organizations” added on 28 August 2025. Its 1991 plan to wage “grand Jihad” against the West from within appears once.

Section titled “National Audit on Group-based Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse”The audit’s headline finding, that British Pakistani men were disproportionately represented among perpetrators in the areas with data and that “flawed data” had been used to dismiss the claims, is in the body. The opening says only who commissioned it and that an inquiry will follow.

Qatar Charity
Section titled “Qatar Charity”The opening reads as the charity’s own brochure, orphans sponsored and dollars spent, under neutrality and conflict-of-interest warnings standing since March 2019. The leaked bank records published in Qatar Papers (2019), showing 140 mosque and school projects worth about €71 million for Brotherhood-linked groups in Europe, appear nowhere in the article.
