Righteous Among the Nations

The honour Israel’s Yad Vashem gives to non-Jews who risked their lives to save Jews in the Holocaust. More than 28,000 have been recognised, from Oskar Schindler to Raoul Wallenberg to entire villages: the courage the catastrophe did not extinguish.
