Abdallah al-Ajmi: what Wikipedia removed
A Kuwaiti Guantanamo Bay detainee who went AWOL from the Kuwaiti military to fight in Afghanistan and later carried out a suicide attack in Iraq in 2008. By 2010 a Joint Task Force Guantanamo report quoted in the opening stated the detainee “went AWOL from the Kuwaiti military in order to travel to Afghanistan to participate in the Jihad.” Today the word is gone from the opening, though it survives 5 times elsewhere in the article. A reader today learns he was held at Guantanamo and later carried out a suicide attack, and not that he described his own combat purpose in Afghanistan as jihad.
