Settler, the settlements or all Israel?

The same trick, a second word. A ‘settler’ sounds like an Israeli living in a West Bank settlement past the 1967 line, the thing most people mean. But the activist frame of ‘settler-colonialism’ brands every Israeli Jew a settler and the whole state a colonial implant to be undone, which is why ‘settlers go home’ is aimed at Tel Aviv and Haifa, not just Area C. It collapses on one fact: Jews are indigenous to this land, with 3,000 years of continuous presence, language and self-rule there before Islam or the modern Arab states existed. A people returning to its own homeland is the opposite of a foreign colony with a mother country to go back to.
