The 2010 opening said “A massacre was known to have occurred by Jewish troops against the town’s inhabitants.” Today’s opening says the village “was attacked by the Israel Defense Forces as part of Operation Gideon,” with no mention of a massacre; the word does not appear anywhere in the article. A reader today does not learn that earlier snapshots of the article recorded a massacre claim at Al-Fatur.
