Hamid Slimi is a Canadian imam who wrote the 2000 book Terrorism: An Islamic Perspective, published before the September 11 attacks. The 2010 opening listed his works, noting he is known for his book Terrorism: An Islamic Perspective. Today the word terror does not appear anywhere in the article, not just the opening. A reader today does not learn that Slimi wrote a book specifically addressing terrorism from an Islamic perspective, published before 9/11.
